Tech ONTAP Podcast Episode 38 - Docker Volume Plugin & OpenStack Summit Recap

Not too long ago NetApp announced a Docker volume plugin. The plugin enables Docker users to simply and easily connect to and consume clustered Data ONTAP iSCSI and NFS storage with their containerized applications. During this episode we sit down with none other than…me, Andrew Sullivan! That’s right, in addition to co-hosting our podcast, I’m also the Technical Marketing Engineer for containers at NetApp, and in this week’s episode, we discuss Docker, containers, microservices, and next generation applications.

But it’s been a busy couple weeks for the team. At OpenStack Summit Austin, I was able to sit down with Rob Esker, Product Manager at NetApp, and Brendan Wolfe, Senior Marketing Manager at NetApp. We spent about 20 minutes discussing the highlights, and lowlights, of the show to get a great overview from two of the leaders of NetApp’s OpenStack integration.

Be sure to keep an eye on the netapp.github.io blog for more information about the sessions that NetApp presented during OpenStack Summit!
