Overheard in Berlin:
“In the last 12 months, SolidFire has disrupted the traditional storage industry, launched socks 3.0, and we’re now part of NetApp. How have you been?”

In all seriousness, Cisco Live Europe is one of my favorite events, serving as a great starting point for the technology conversations that will shape 2016. I’m busily studying German and various travel guide books (my first trip to Berlin!), as well as setting my calendar up to make sure I don’t miss anything.

In the spirit of community and sharing, here’s my traveler’s guide to #CLEUR.

Architecture worth exploring:

Cisco and SolidFire help create infrastructures for your OpenStack and VMware environments at the speed of business with the agility to grow on demand.

What does that mean for you as a customer? When you depend on Cisco products to build out your infrastructure, SolidFire all-flash storage gives you the most agile platform to store your data. If you need to grow, the process to add a new node and grow the existing environment is nondisruptive. You won’t need to take down the storage or redirect from one RAID group to another as you expand your SolidFire storage.

This makes it easy to match your OpenStack or VMware infrastructure to your business requirements without introducing painful redesign efforts as your business grows.
